Let's visit the Pagodas! Yay!!

First I visited the Small Wild Goose Pagoda:

Huh. Okay.

Wait! let's see that from a different angle!!!

Yuuup. That's a pagoda alright.

Well, okay, but what about the big one?

"If you've seen one pagoda in China, you've seen them all." -Sam

Actually, all kidding aside, I had a great time in the general vicinity of the pagodas.

At the Small Wild Goose there were plenty of amusing signs.

I love how brusque this is!

This reads: "Historical relics can not resuscitate. Everyone is in duty bound to protect it."

And this one that says "White Clothing Pavilion: It is well known for kwan-yin Bodhisattva always dress in white, offers kwan-yin Bodhisattva."

Inside the pagoda there was this sign.
Except I'd seriously like to see someone try to get through those spikes.

And this one.
A request which, if you enlarge this picture, you can see everyone honored and respected.

"There were electric do not paddle"
I'm confused  by your use of the past tense.

And finally, my favorite!! The plaque on this column base.
Read the last sentence.

At the Big Wild Goose Pagoda there were the people to watch.

Like this kid:

And these people all enjoying the fountain:

But the real attraction was this lady:
Everyone wanted to take their picture with this statue.
