This is a photo of the stairwell outside my kitchen-bath area. I was cooking in the kitchen a few days after the New Year when I heard the weirdest noises. As I amusingly discovered later, upon leaving my apartment and seeing these shredded paper remains, what I heard was the sound of firecrackers going off in a small concrete space.
My favorite thing about this is the broom sitting right there, just waiting for some long-suffering adult to come along and tidy up :) .
