Lychees are one of my most favorite fruits! And oh. my. god! it's a shame fresh lychees aren't available back home.
(Unless they are? Maybe I just never noticed?)
I had to use a knife to make a starter cut into the shell,
but then it was easily peeled off.
And soon there was nothing left but the pit!
